Daylight Sanctuary & Maruba Events Present 1st & 2nd Degree Reiki Course At the Forest Rise Hotel, Forest Road, Loughborough, Leicestershire. From Saturday 19th to Sunday 20th May 2007. Reiki is the traditional Usui system of natural healing. It gives you the ability to help others, helps you along your spiritual pathway, encourages the practice of self-healing and gives you a greater understanding of the holistic nature of mankind. International Reiki Master, Christine Day, is offering a course to gain either 1st and/or 2nd degree diplomas in this fascinating subject. Spiritual Adventure Weekend At Stenson Hill Farm, Stenson, Derbyshire. From Friday 28th September to Monday 1st October 2007. Join us for a relaxing weekend of self-discovery based at a beautiful property in the peaceful Derbyshire countryside. The property comprises a large comfortable lounge where the workshops will take place, a dining room overlooking the gardens, and accommodation that sleeps 20 guests in twin or double en suite rooms. Life Pictures For many years Christine has been teaching Art Therapy and sketching Life Pictures as part of the self enlightenment process. (Click the picture below to see a larger image). Life Pictures are impressions on a psychic level of an individual, expressed through colour and form, to make a composite picture of early life, present life, and pathway forward. The shapes and colours in the lower part of the picture show what the person has experienced in the past. The centre of the picture shows where the individual is in the present. The upper part of the picture is an indication of future pathways, growth and spirituality. More examples of Christine's Life Pictures can be seen here.
